Some Kids Face Challenges

some-kids-have-problems-2

Some of the those who come to Rush NeuroBehavioral Center’s web site are parents whose children have already been diagnosed with a neurobehavioral issue. They seek expert treatment.

Others are parents, teachers, or professionals who have a sense that something is not right, but don’t yet know what the problem is. Their child (student or patient) is having difficulty

  • Focusing attention
  • Doing well in school
  • Forming relationships
  • Making friends
  • Regulating behavior
  • Functioning effectively

Their child may also be bewildered, distraught, or depressed as well.

The usual incentives and punishments have little effect. Signs of promise are giving way to a sense of unease and failure.

For families who are coping with a diagnosed condition and families who are still looking for an answer and an expert diagnosis, Rush NeuroBehavioral Center can help…

because we know that all kids with challenges have strengths to build on.
